Lazy post - hair straightners permitted in hand luggage (Ryanair)?

yes, I know I should go and read through the pages and pages of the terms and conditions of my flight but I will be honest, I am at work and don'e have the time! Instead I shall draw on the vast knowledge and expertise of this board...

Q) Will I be permitted to carry my hair straightners in my hand luggage on board a Ryanair flight. Flying Kerry to Dublin later this evening.. thank you.!

Mrs Shark only yesterday had herself in a tizzle over the very same thing , I contacted a friend who is a searcher at Dublin Airport and he assured me the said item was fine. Mrs Shark sailed through without any problems.
