Laying rolled grass now ?

Hi all,

I know it's too late in the year to sow grass seed but would I still be able to put down the rolls of turf or would the soil be too cold for the roots to take ?

Absolutely too late, more to do with ground prep, imagine ground is saturated. Forget about it till spring.
