Laying Lino

Does anyone have any advice re laying lino? Im thinking of giving it a bash! I presume there is some sort of special glue thats needed and I was thinking of running a bit of bathroom silisone aront edges after to make it look neater. Also is it alright to lay it straight onto floorboards if they are sanded?
 
you need to put plywood over the floorboards and screw fix the edges every 150mm.
 
Where do I get adhesive/glue to keep lino secure? There is a woodies near me, I presume they have it, anyone know what its called?
