Hi Snowyb,
Hope you are well.
Are there any cheaper options with similar cover to above?
We are a family of 2AD+2C (13+10).
I would have no issues splitting up cover for the Kids (VHI ) if need be.
We have been quoted €2249.55 for renewal.

For the children, Laya Essential Health 300 is the best value overall, where you pay for the first child and the rest are free of charge.

For the adults, to make savings the following 2 plans are worth considering.
In order to avail of the Laya child offer above, at least one adult must also choose any Laya plan. Details as follows;

1. Laya Signify plan; price 939pa; all public and private hospitals covered; private excess capped at 250 x 2 per year for all private hospital
admissions, day case excess 125 per procedure.

The following VHI plan is worth considering to make more savings for one adult;
2. VHI One Plan 250; price 896pa; all public and private hospitals covered; private excess capped at 250 x 2 per year for all private hospital
admissions, day case excess 150 per procedure.
