Lawnmower within Warranty- Lawnmower is Not in production anymore what are my options

I have a lawnmower with 2 years parts and labour warranty, and have the lawnmower 18 months but a part has now broken on the Mower. When i went back to shop they just said that this product has been discontinued and you need to take it up with manufacturer, as the warranty is with them and not with the shop. The manufacturer says the product is discontinued and parts cannot be got for this type of lawnmower anymore.

Is there anything i can do to enforce the warranty or get a full refund or replacement product? Or should i just go out and get another lawnmower and forget about this issue?
