Last payment from company

Hi,

I recently left a position in the Republic to go travelling.

I had some holidays left and electedd to get paid for them. My boss emailed me recently to say that I have been over paid by a week and I have to contact payroll.

What should I do, I don't know how easy it will be to repay them, I don;t have direct access to my funds

Many contracts of employment contain clauses covering the recovery by the employer of overpayments of remuneration. Perhaps yours does and the contract covers this period? If you were overpaid and you owe them money back then you should pay it in a way that is most convenient to both parties in my opinion.
