Laraghcon Lucan to the city centre - bus route

Hi folks, I have a friend who will be moving in here soon and she is not sure what is the best mode of transport would be for her to get to the city centre? Does anyone know which bus would be handiest for Laraghcon? She is also half thinking of driving to the train station in Leixlip but is not sure how good an option this would be.
