Laptop Security Centre Is not Identifying My antivirus software

My laptop security centre has recently stopped identifying anti virus software. I have had the avg free for 6 months without any problems. Does anyone now why this may be?

Since I have began getting these warnings, my laptop has been 'freezing' frequently when I am accessing the internet. Is there a relation between these happenings?

Are you using a firewall solution or relying solely on AVG anti-virus?

You should also post some information your OS, Spec, Make etc.

Include what applications you use when you're surfing.

Also indicated if its the same website.

I had the same problem with AVG. I switched to Avast - problem solved.

Yes the laptop is firewalled too.
The laptop is a Compaq make.
I use Mozilla Firefox for internet surfing and the 'freezing' occurs as sson as a try to access any page.

Try clearing the history and cache run ccleaner and spybot. Then try again.
