Langham Hotel, London - Central?

Hi There,

Heading to London with work on Friday morning and hope to have a few hours to myself in the afternoon to get some sight-seeing in as I've never had the opportunity to do this in London before (only ever see the inside of airport hotels!).

I'm staying in the Langham hotel. Does anyone know if this is within walking distance to any of the major tourist attractions, i.e. Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, etc... or would I have to get the tube / taxi?

Its very central. If you have the time, you can walk most things. If you are limited with time, the hop on and off bus is usally a good alternative. Nice hotel by the way.

Yup it's a nice hotel indeed ... extremely central - about 2 mins walk from Oxford Circus ... you could easily walk from there to Green Park, Buckingham Palace and Westminster(Big Ben) ... you could probably do that in about 45 mins total walking.
