My parents own six acres, some of it spans either side of a road, others are fields - they do not farm it or anything but they want to get public liability insurance. Their thinking is that someone could get injured if a branch from a tree fell on the road or someone was injured and put in a claim. Is there any company that is good for getting public liability for land?
If the land is adjoining their home, they should be able to add it on to their existing property insurance. Most Ins companies will quote for this but FBD are likely to be the most competitive as the farmer's insurers.
That's a good idea actually. I'm slow to go to FBD because I was told that they only deal with people who have other insurance with them, which my parents don't.
