landlord wont fix gas fire in house,what can i do ??

im a tenant and gas boiler has only been serviced 3 weeks ago for the 1st time and im here over 2 yrs,i havb ask to get some one to fix the gas fire in sitting room but it has not been done,i have to light it with matches and it takes ages to get it goin,can some one tell me what are my rites are here so i can get these things sorted,i hav two young children and am worried when it comes to gas

You could possibly report it to rgii.ie as an unsafe appliance

also speak with your local citizens advice, as your landlord has a legal obligation
to service your gas appliances on an annual basis.
