Hi Guys,

Probably posting this in the wrong section but, with this new Household tax ( the €100pa ) who pays it in a rental property. The Landlord or the Tenant?

if it is a rental property, the owner should already be paying the second homes tax, so i would have thought there was no need to pay this new tax, or is it for all properties.

It is for all properties - landlord now liable for NPPR €200 and the new tax of €100.

Id say there are alot of landlords who think the same as myself, and will end up with penalties and late charges.

When and to whom does the new €100 tax have to be paid, the NPPR €200 is usually in March to the County Council
