Landlord obliged to accept rent allowance?

Hi,

I have tenants in a rented property. They have chosen to sub-let a room. My question is, as my lease agreement is solely with them, am I obliged to deal with this other party? They have asked me to sign forms for rent allowance for this other party, am I obliged to do this?

Does your lease permit them to sub-let? I would be very wary about letting them do this. You are under no obliation to accept any tenant into your property

personally i wouldnt let them.check the contract between yourself and the tenents unless of course you get the money.im on RA and would never agree to it.
