I am not sure if this question has been asked before. When buying a new house is it the base price exclusive of Vat or the Vat inclusive price that determines which band that the Land Registry Fees are calculated at.
For example New House costing €190,000 exclusive of Vat has €600 fees but if the Vat is added the house costs €215,650 which has €700 fees.
