Land registry fees

Can anybody who has recently paid land registry fees please let me know how much they have been billed as I have a bill in form the solicitor and want to know if I'm getting over charged?

For what it's worth the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds fees and charges are outlined here.

Land Registry fees are on a scale so it depends on how much your house was- whether there was a seperate site transfer and building agreement, how much your mortgage was, whether you had to pay a seperate fee for a new folio, whether there were other burdens on the title etc- so you can't compare with anyone elses fees.

Also Land Registry fees are significantly higher than Registry of Deeds fees (or it could be the opposite way around - can't remember) and only one is charged on most house purchases. Perhaps if you post what you were charged for Land Registry/Reguistry of Deeds dees here somebody can comment?
