Land drains - 4" 100m

I pricing 100metre 4" landdrains at the moment - best price I`ve got so far is €170 per roll.
I thought they would be cheaper than this - does anyome know where
they could be sourced cheaper. I`m based in New Ross area.

That seems a bit expensive. I bought 2 rolls of 80mm land drain pipe for 90Euro/roll from a local builders providers in Co.Carlow.. one of the Homevalue chain. Do you need 100mm dia. ? The 80mm pipe is rated to the same removal rate (300mm2/m) and almost double the stiffness rating.

Yes thought it was on the pricey side myself - the land i`m draining is fairly damp, i`ve built house on it. I also got quoted €100 for the 3" inch but drainage guy said would need 4" - although I see what your saying about removal rate. I`ll try the homevalue - there is one near me, thanks.

Just rang homevalue - €140 for 100 m 4" and €90 for 3" - some difference! thanks
If anyone knows somewhere that can beat that please let me know.
