Land Deed/Folio

looking for some insight into the following:
Land was registered to someone and on the folio it says on the folio that the land annunity was cancelled and the collection number was also crossed off aswell.my family have always farmed this land and and i have records of my uncle and grandmother paying the annuity under the collection number that was crossed off on the origional folio. I'm trying to get this land into my family's name and away from the origional registered persons name on the deeds.any suggestions or how to procede? Is Adverse Possession the road to take? I have tried contacting the land comission annunity dept in Cavan but no luck there yet.

From what you've said, yes, probably adverse possession. Most solicitors would want to have a detailed consultation and a look at the title deeds before advising on whether this route is the best or likely to succeed.
