laminate floor problem

hi all im currenty fixing up an house ive never done much diy but i thought id try laying some laminate flooring to save money the problem i have is in the room the central heating pipes run above the floor along the skirting board so when i use the spacers for the floor when the plank is pressed up against the spacer i wont have any way to remove the spacer when the floor is fitted if that makes sense.i cant pull the spacers up as i would normally as the pipes will be in the way.
