laguna 2 keycard

hi folks
my keycard for my renault laguna 2 2005, lock button has broken and will now not lock the car. i have gone back to my not so friendly local renault dealer who smiled and told me a new card would cost 200euro. i have not gone with that option as its way over the top for such a small job.

has this happened to anybody out there and is there a cheaper option to replace/repair

have gone with this man to repair the keycard. works out at 70euro. the dublin key repair company proved to be just as expensive as the main dealership in the end
