We are a family of 2 adults and 3 daughters, 15, 13 & 8 going to the Marina Club in Lagos for 2 weeks on Sunday. Any recommendations for restaurants, beaches and activities in the area would be great! We are already aware of the water parks. tks

Try Trip Advisor.com. They specialise in suggestions for holidays.

Interested to hear how OP gets on at Marina Club - been there twice in last few years and think it's a great place for family holiday. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

If you have a car, you should pop into Alvor one of the nights you're there and have a look around. Lots of nice restaurants on the harbour and on the street leading up from the harbour.

aquashow is a great day out - also zoomarine which has signs everywhere is worth a look. enjoy it's a lovely country.

I am just back on Sunday after a week! 40 degrees. So have the holiday blues. Can recommend Shalimar Indian, No Patio, Meu Lima Tapas Bar.

Did not like the Don Toro Steak House, would avoid at all costs, or Do Cais Beach Bar.

I will be back.

, would avoid at all costs, or Do Cais Beach Bar.

What's wrong with Do Cais - been going there regularly on past 2 holidays to the Marina Club - think it's a great spot! Breakfasts there are nice, lunch is good and the staff are helpful.
