Anybody out there know anything about bikes?
My wife is looking for a biked so I thought I would surprise her with one for her birthday. (Think she was dropping hints!)
Anyhow, she wants something that she can use for popping down to the shops and other small errands, so she can leave the car at home. I like to cycle at weekends (road bike, nothing serious just a bit of exercise) and she has mentioned that she would like to come along. So I'm thinking a hybrid would be most suitable for her as it will kinda suit both needs!
A guy in 1 shop has said Giant are best and recommended a Giant CRS 4.0 saying it was the best value bike.
Guy in another shop recommends Trek 7.2 which is €100 euros dearer.
Both reputable shops!
Anyone any opinions on these bikes or any suggested alternatives.
