We are planning to take a week in September and would like a good quality aparthotel or apartment with pool and loungers. Near restaurants and supermarket.

Mid forties couple, like to get out and have a drink but like to be able to sleep when we get back.

Sea and sand not required. All recommendations appreciated. Thanks.

Pine Club is very far out from centre of Kusadasi. At least 30 mins on a bus (depending what side streets the driver decides to drive up to collect passengers). Saying that I stayed there twice when my kids were small as each villa has its own pool and very safe for young children. The Pine Club has a sister hotel in Kusadasi where friends stayed and they thought it lovely. You have to be careful with the star ratings of hotels in Turkey as not all would be up to the our standards.

Just back from a 2 week stay at The Palmera hotel (http://www.palmerahotel.com/) on a B&B basis.

Up a very steep hill but hence fantastic views from apartments and while dining "al fresco". Food, staff, hotel, cleanliness, all very very good. Very quiet at night and always sun loungers available during the day. A four/five minute taxi trip into the centre was €5 each way. Food at the hotel was of high standard and was about half the price of Ireland. Got a deal with Sunway at €495 for the fortnight including all taxes and transfers.

Highly recommended.
