Krav Maga is a Self Defence System Developed by the Israeli Defence forces, now available in Ireland. Im thinking of doing a 12 week course in it (1.5 hrs/wk) It is available in my locality.

Has any one done such a course. Is it worth €120?

I have done Krav Maga. I think it's worth the money. I enjoyed it and learnt a lot!

The only problem for me was the course was a bit far away so it became a pain in the ass having to haul myself there every week.

I've heard there are some scammy teachers out there. Post in the boards.ie Martial Arts forum for more infomation.

120 Euro for twelve weeks is WELL worth it. I would definitely recommend it. Have done a course and its great fun, very useful, good for fitness.....Whilst theres a lot of information on board.ie about KM theres a bit of *****ing and nonsense posted there too. I trained with Patrick Cumiskey at www.kravmagaireland.com. Would highly recommend his course..
