Currently have a Tucson diesel which is a lovely car if a little on the big side especially for parking. As its getting on in years thinking of possibly Kona in hybrid or plug-in hybrid.

The Tucson hybrid or plug-in is mad money but the Kona is a big drop in size.

Want to stick with Hyundai. Don't like i30 or the likes.

Depends on your driving patterns. Do you often drive long distance? Are you able to get a home charger installed? I'd suggest going full electric if possible.

Have you considered the Ionic 5? It's getting rave reviews and is larger than the Kona.

The Ionic starts at the same money as the Tucson hybrid options, so may be out of budget, but not much in the way of options for similar sized hybrid or EV for any less than that.

Thanks for the replies.

Not really mad about the Ionic and understand there is approx a year long waiting list for it.

Thinking strongly now about the Kona Hybrid.

I know you said you want to stick with Hyundai but the Kia Niro could be a good alternative
smaller than the Tucson
The Kona is very small IMO
Sister company to Hyundai
Option of PHEV and Hybrid
New version out now so should effect prices on the last model.
