Kodak Automatic updates

Can anyone tell me how I disable my kodak software from automatically updating when I go on the internet.Recently it's really being slowing me down and for a day or so I thought I had a virus.The kodak software just tells me that this is part of the program but I want to disable it without having to install zone alarm etc.

Do you mean that you don't want to run a firewall at all? Not a good idea...

I've no probloem with having one but the last time I had Zone Alarm it slowed my PC down to the point where the net was a pain to use.

Strange. I've used it on many different PCs/laptops with no significant performance impact. Anyway, there are other alternatives (see [broken link removed] for example).

Anyway - in relation to your original problem I found [broken link removed] after about two minutes of Google searching.
