Knocking down internal wall

We need to knock down the wall between our Kitchen and Dining room.
Do not think it is supporting anything.
What do you think of my chances of getting a builder to do a job as small as this?
Anyone know any small builders in the Malahide area?
Or anyone had a go at this themselves?

Is it not supporting the roof above, I think you will need an RSJ, this is not a big job, if you are handy you could do it yourself, get supports for the roof brfore you knock down the wall between the 2 rooms, make sure you get advice on correct rsj, make sure it is not to weak and also not to heavy, this job should cost on more than 5 K, but if you know any good handy man can be done much cheaper, I have a name if you need it,
