Kitten 'went' on my suede curtains- what to do?

hi all,

My kitten decided to relieve herself on my suede curtains in our bedroom - she's toilet trained but I guess is looking for a bit of attention. Anyway, I'm just wondering- how bad an idea would it be to wash the curtain in the washing machine given they're suede? I can't seem to find any care instructions on them...

Any ideas?

Give your local dry cleaners a buzz for advice - could end up ruining your curtains by machine washing them.
 
Are they real suede or simulated suede? I have faux suede ones and they are either hand wash or dry cleanable.

On my labels it says hand wash or dry clean - you'd probably be safer, and it would be a whole lot easier, dry cleaning them.

Mine are relatively new, so I haven't had to clean them yet.
 
Real suede is specialist dry clean only - in Cork, there is only 1 co. I know of who do this and they're based in Mallow. Personally I wouldn't wash them. Be prepared to spend a lot getting them dry cleaned - I paid €40 for a pair of suede trousers!
