Kitchen Paint

Hi,

I am planning to repaint my kitchen and I haven't much painting experience.
I have some questions ;

Should I use an undercoat ?
Should the topcoat be oil or water-based ?
Should I use a special anti-condensation paint ?

Any advice appreciated.

I would apply two or even three coats of water-based "kitchen and bathroom" grade emultsion paint to a clean, well prepared surface. You'd get away with fewer coats if you are painting over a similar colour.

As Extopia says something water based kitchen and bathroom paint possibly [broken link removed] might be good but definitely nothing oil based.
