Hi, I am looking around for a kitchen floor to go with cream units and a blue cooker. I asked a tile shop about sandstone coloured flagstones and the lady told me not to get them as they suck up anything that lands on them, eg, wine but if you seal these, wouldn't it be alright? She said although they sell like hot cakes (she didn't have any in stock) because they are dry stones, she wouldn't recommend them. Does anyone have any these in their house and also, do you think I am choosing the right flooring regarding the colour, I also like the old style country look (multi-colour flagstones). Thanks.
