What are some of the better kitchen appliance brands? Don't want a real expensive or real cheap one just a reliable one. Looking for a dishwasher and washing machine

i got an indesit washing machine 5 1/2 years ago. wasn't too expensive and still going perfect. friends have gotten beko appliances in power city and say they are good value for money.

We recently got a new Zanussi washing machine which is brilliant and comes with 5 year warranty. The beko ones only have a 1 year one which isn't really worth it.

I can look up Which's Best Buys in both categories as well. Are you looking for integrated or free standing and what's your budget?

LG make great washing machines which take a 7 kg load and come with a 5 year parts and labour guarantee. Not the cheapest kit but great value for money.

Zanussi and Electrolux are the 1 company. Can't see reason for such a price difference!!!!

Re: Kitchen Appliances - Which Best Buys

Hi Joe
Excellent post. Any chance you could post if Which had a "best Buy" in the 'US-style fridge-freezer' category, in washing machines, in tumble dryers, oven & hobs? Thanks, apple1.

Siemans are worth mentioning- good solid machines with clean lines that work well together.

I've got a Hotpoint 1400 spin washer, and it's excellent. You pay a bit more for 1400, but it's worth it I think. You get what you pay for.
