Kinsale and around - eating out with kids?

Heading to Kinsale (staying in Kilgobbin) and wondering are there any afforable and kid-friendly place in eat in the area?

Also, any tourist hints appreciated!

Fishy Fishy in Kinsale is fabulous if you like seafood. Not sure about kids menu but prob google and sample menu may be available.

check tripadvisor, always find it good.

Mykidstime.ie, not sure if in that area.

Fishy fishy for sure, not too expensive but more suited to parents.

There are other places in the town to eat with kids, and theres a very nice Ice Cream Parlour open there now thats very 50's retro style.

you know yourself - if you dont want to overspend avoid the hotel restaurants, etc. Most places do good kids menu's at reasonable prices.

Criteria #1, space for kids to run around outside, only 1 option in Kinsale itself, Actons Hotel, food alright.
Better option again, get in the car and drive 15 mins to The Speckled Door at Garretstown beach, lovely food and big contained lawn out the back (with horses over the fence) for kids to run around while you eat dinner, drink pint, bask in sun.
