Killorglin & environs - family holiday info please !

Hi

Staying for a week (before Puck Fair !) and would like recommendations for all sorts - restaurants, day trips, beaches, attractions etc - we have 3 boys under 10. We like the outdoors and like to see and do as much as possible but without driving too far say an hour's drive max !
 
if the weather is nice rossbeigh is the nearest beach and is a fine beach it is close to the village of glenbeigh which is nice for a stroll around. You will also be close to Killarney where there is a nice playground for children and many walks and the waterbus which goes out in the lakes. There is a cenima in Killarney also. You will be a half an hour drive from the aqua dome in tralee and this is good for kids also.
There are a few nice restaurants in Killorglin the banconi is very good and the tapas bar has nice athmosphere. Killorglin golf club would be a very good place to eat and lots of locals go there as it is vey well priced and has fab views from the club house. Children are welcome there. Enjoy your holidays
