Killiney Hill - Bayview Crescent surrounding areas eg Ballybrack & Shanganagh Cliffs?

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the Killiney Hill area near the Shanganagh roundabout is like? We are thinking about buying a house in this area but have heard some bad stories about the surrounding areas such as Ballybrack and Shanganagh Cliffs.

It's ok. Lots of dogs on the beach. If you love dogs, Killiney is a good place to live.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but is anybody familiar with these areas? I'm looking at houses around here, am married with one child, so I would really like some local feedback. What about schools? are the roads very congested in the mornings, for example getting to the M50? Does anyone take the dart into work every day? Thanks in advance
