Kilkee accommodation recommendation

Thinking of visiting Kilkee for a few days in June and we will have our 9 month old with us, can anyone recommend accommodation suitable for us? Hoping to keep costs down but I don't think we'll be there for a week so holiday homes might not be an option.

I see the Kilkee Bay Hotel has been renovated recently, there had been some bad reviews on forums for last year, does anyone know if there has been an improvement under the new management?

It is very hard to get quality accommodation in Kilkee for less than a week and/or at short notice. All the nice self-catering houses are generally let by the same people year on year. June not as bad as July or August though so you might be ok. It is worst persisting because it is a great place to holiday!
