Kia carens 6 seater.

What do people think about kia cars....

In interested in picking up a 2004 kia carens, but im slightly worried that all the ones for sale have failry low milage... 20 - 45 k... very little for 3-4 year old cars....

are kia succeptable to problems???

any help would be greatly appreciated......

(ps, i cant wait to dump my opel zafira... heap of junk... i wouldnt advise anyont to go near them...)

Oh dear. We were considering a Zafira. What's wrong with them then?

(The Carens doesn't come out too well in the car survey sites. (carsurvey.org; honestjohn.co.uk) A bit boring apparently...

I dont mind boring as long as its reliable... thanks for those websites too....

I know three people who have opels, me included, and they all have problems with them.... and they all seem to be similar problems... car chugging, loss of power etc....
I have a 00, have it for the last 2 years, and in that time ive had to change the timing belt and water pump twice... the head gasket went.... and one rear brake shoe came loose.....
according to the mechanic opels have a bad rep for water pumps going.... and the head gasket was a complete pain.. €870 yo yos to get corrected...

only my 2 cents worth.... but i wont be going back to them... its jap from here on in for me....


However, the 2003 onwards seems to be a much better version......
