Just installed a Network Card on a Win 98SE PC.

Installed fine.

However, everytime I boot the PC it looks for the driver again.

What can I do?

Yes. And I installed the Win98 driver. The card works and is shown in device manager.

Ive had that im sure with Realtek cards at some stage on W98. Think if you delete the network card in Control Panel and re-install afresh it probably will clear.

Did that. Removed the card in Device Manager and installed the card again.

Started the PC and looked for the driver. Inserted the floppy with the Win98 driver. Now it can't find the driver on the disk. Checked the disk.

Now what can I do?

It probably has the driver on it allright. You need to Browse the floppy and look for the W98 folder and arrow down to it that way.

Try the web the card manufacturer site for a new driver.

Otherwise try driverguide.com

login driver pasword all as far as I remember and look for a driver there.
