2 shop assistants on low money sell their average house (after missing 3 mortgage payments in 12 months)in order to buy a 2,500 sq foot house with a lake view. Wife wants BMW or will leave the husband because her friend has one. Wife wants the BMW, and wants to stop working. She wants to be a “kept woman” If she doesn’t get the life she thinks she “deserves”, she will leave.

Just wondering if people have any other examples of crazy behaviour caused by our new 'wealth'? Or examples of pure financial ignorance. Interesting to see how greed and desperation has affected people's logical processes.

MODS: It may be too light a topic for here? Maybe better suited to Shooting The Breeze?
 
The shop assistant left working would have to do a suspicious amount of skimming from the till to sustain that lifestyle. ;)
