Keeping hot press warm

we are renovating our house - putting in new rads, windows etc. One problem is our hot press. The current cylindar is not insulated and we are considering replacing it with an insulated cylindar (possibly stainless steel) to reduce heat loss. Problem is - how do we keep heat in the hot press to air clothes etc? do we need to put a radiator in there? Its a approximately 3ft deep by 8ft wide and is under the stairs? any ideas?

Don't worry, it'll get warm and stay warm. The cylinder itself will be insulated, but you'll also have uninsulated hot-water-pipes running out to taps, etc.

With little air cold air getting in, apart from when you open the door, all you bed-linen etc will be grand.

Was Des Bishop right about our fascination with hot-presses and immersions?
