There is a very unusual technical problem with vBulletin. If you want to check your income tax using Karl Grabe's tax calculator, cut and paste the following link. Do not click on the link, it will not work.

The link worked fine for me, I'm using Firefox, so maybe it's a browser problem.

That link is working as you point out. But the link in the Links and ASkaboutmoney is not working for some reason.

Actually, clicking on the link above does work! For some reason vBulletin seems to sometime (e.g. in the compilation of useful links thread) encode the '~' (tilde) character in a URL as %7E but sometimes it leaves it "raw". When the tilde character is encoded Karl's check of the URL to ensure that the genuine version of his calculator fails and generates the exclamation mark in the results text box instead of the proper results. At the moment I haven't figured out if/why/when vBulletin sometimes encodes tildes in URLs and sometimes does not.
