Has anyone out there had any dealings with this company?

We placed an order 6 weeks ago for fabric. We were told it would take no longer than 10 working days to be delivered.

We are still waiting.

We have made dozens of phonecalls.. excuses so far.........

1. Discontinued fabric but we have the last of it to make up your order (we were told it was a brand new fabric when we ordered it)
2. The company supplying are having a stock take so they can't release the fabric
3. The order has not come in yet
4. We will check the deliveries coming in and get back to you.. (THEY NEVER DO)

Every time we phone they tell us they will call us back but they never do. We are really getting sick of it now.

Go else where and try and source that fabric or pick a new one. Get any deposit you paid back. From the prices they charge you would want to be getting a much better service. Laura Ashley do nice fabrics. I have had no dealings with either but a friend uses the latter a lot and loves them,

At this stage we are close to cancelling and buying from another company entirely.

I definetly will not be recommending them to anyone. They have continued to mislead us from word go.

I wish they would just be up front and tell us what is going on. If they would do that at least we could determine ourselves what to do.

Do you happen to know what the lead time is for fabrics ordered through Laura Ashley?

Cannot say for sure but I do know that my friend was very pleased with the service. She has also bought a few big pieces of furniture from them and delivery was very good,
She used the branch at Blanchardstown if that is any good to you.
