Just received a Form 11 in the post

Hi
Is it normal to receive a Form 11 for 2008 in the post?

For 2007 I was a contractor and then in 2008 I was on social welfare and am (since mid 2008) employeed as a PAYE worker.

Is it normal to get a Form 11?
I don't remember getting them in the past.

Also do I have to fill out every section as I'm a PAYE worker?

If you were self-employed in 2007 then, unless you notified Revenue that you ceased, they still assume that you still are and have sent you the noremal Form 11 for persons with income outside PAYE. If you had no income outside PAYE or social welfare in 2008 then you can request Revenue to rescind the Form 11. You need to contact them though and will probably need to put that in writing to them.
