Just realised Omission on Mortgage Protection

I'm applying for Life Cover.

In going over my mortgage protection form, I noticed that I left out a section in family history - family members recovered from an illness.

It would have been mentioned in a doctor's report sent to the insurers when applying.

Do I contact insurers and let them know?

Are there any repercussions? Not bothered about any extra amount to pay, just want to ensure that I'm covered.

If in doubt I would contact them. You can't be sure what was in the doctors report but if it was they already know so would have considered it, if it's not it's a get out of jail card for them should there be a claim so either way if it's important make sure they know!

Thanks for the response.

I have a copy of the report that the doctor sent To them.

It was from a specialist I was seeing about another issue.
