Hi all,

New to ask about money...myself and my partner have just gotten married and want to go about setting up a pension, I'm 30 and he's 34. Is their anyone in particular that any of you guys would suggest we go for or are they all much the same. I also have an SSIA. Would appreciate your help with this as I'm at a loss when it comes to stuff like this!

Re: Starting a pension

Hi Fiona and welcome to AAM.

Have you read the Key Posts in the Pensions and PRSA forum? They should prove to be a good starting point.

Are you aware that there are incentives for SSIA holders to transfer a portion of their SSIA into a PRSA? may prove interesting/relevant.

You may want to consult an Authorised Advisor, who, possibly for a fee, should give you independent advice on the best product for your needs.
