Hi all,

Does anyone know would junkers be suitable for a bathroom? Am getting some free and have a bathroom floor to find as well so was thinking of putting 2 + 2 together?? Or would that not add up?!

Thanks,

M

Have no idea what they are - according to this, they were the landed aristocracy of Prussia and Eastern Germany. :)

Presume you mean junkers timber flooring? would have thought that wooden flooring would not be the most pratical solution in a bathroom and junkers is usually so expensive would hate to waste it in a bathroom if not suitable. Could you sell it or exchange it for other flooring more suitable for a bathroom?

Thanks Fobs, yes that's what I'm talking about...

They're my brothers - he used all he needs and has a bit left over, so I was just wondering could I use them. Thanks for the info.

No - definitely not. Water and Junkers floors just don't mix.
I had a plant pot sitting on a Junkers floor. Someone over watered it - water leaked over the plastic dish - the floor boards literally curled up at the edges around that area. Had to have it repaired!
