The next few days could be a long time in politics.

Yep - the gubberment lost all opportunity of holding some credibility now by dishing out these service payments, paying politicians extra money to chair committees & then this morning announcing the backdating of the levy to Jan 1st. This is nothing short of criminal. One rule for them - another rule for everyone else.
