Jumbo Chinese- Stillorgan..no more?

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Tragic news if it has closed.
I don't live in Stillorgan anymore but still rate all other Chinese take-aways against Jumbo. God I miss their curry sauce! :)
 
Sorry to confirm this but yes the Jumbo has gone forever. My mate a twice weekly client for over 10 years was a "broken man" in the pub about 2 weeks ago. He knew the family well & they told him that they were "retiring from business". He now goes to Fu Moon in Newtownpark Ave but it will never be in the same league.
 
I too will miss the Jumbo in Stillorgan, even the 70's decor, the oversized Christmas tree, the little door where the bags were passed through, trying to get parking. Loved it.
