Creditor has a judgment against a debtor. Debtor owns a property with equity. Creditor completes and files judgment mortgage affidavit in the Court office appropriate and once noted there creditor files it in relevant Property Registration Authority office. Effect of Judgment Mortgage is that debtor cannot dispose of the property without clearing the debt. Creditor can also seek to sell property and realise debt.
