JSA Means Test

Hi

My JS Benefit runs out soon , they sent me out the application form for the JSA means test. It states in the form:
"If you answered yes to question 3 or 4, please state the total amount of your savings, investments, bonds, or shares and attach evidence to confirm these amounts."

I have money in the bank and in a stock account. What do they mean by evidence. Will internet printouts suffice for this, I don't have up to date bank statements, I would have to pay a fee to get postal statements. I thought I read somewhere that they want six months bank statements, or is that for when they call out to meet you? Any help welcome.
