Hi,
I'm 18 and left education a couple of months ago. I started claiming JSA and thus far have been unsuccessful in finding a job. I was wondering if I'm able to get an apprenticeship whilst on JSA? Or if I sign off, am I still entitled to the free education I was recieving before claiming JSA?
I dont particularly want to be on JSA anymore, as I dont seem to be getting anywhere in my extensive jobsearch, and they tend to 'force' you into taking jobs that you are completely disinterested in. I want to go into care work and I have a BTEC L2 in Health and social care but most jobs require a L3. I want to obtain that level 3 and start working as soon as possible.
Just need some advice as I am quite confused and JC+ never really gives me much help or answers to any of my questions!
