I know there are a few Jools fans on AAM so thought you'd be interested in this news which I got as an email from NCH today.

Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are coming to the NCH Dublin on Sunday 24 October.

For Jools fans there's a very youthful looking Sqeeze with a young lad in shades pictured on pages 8 & 9 of last week-end's Sunday Times Magazine.

Says in the email that guest vocalist is Alison Moyet with support from Simon McBride.

Drool. She has that "blue note" something like Dusty Springfield, Karen Carpenter in her voice that makes her one of the best around - sounds good. Thanks again.

Practically stalking me he has been. Between begging letters asking me to guest on his new album, phoning me in the middle of the night in tears because he can't finish whatever track he's working on...

Told him enough was enough and that I was washing my hair on the 24th.
